| I. Welcome To CiaDraw! |

-- a. An Introduction: ----- -- -
Although styles have changed through time, for the past ten years
the ANSI format has not. It has always been default ASCII characters, with
color codes to change their hues. That is all about to change. With CiADraw
you are no longer limited to the default character set nor are you limited
to the combination of sixteen default colors. If you feel that you need a
curve in your picture or logo, instead of an ugly, ridged block, you can
change any character to the shape of a curve that fits just right. If you
feel that you need a darker shade of red that isn't provided by normal
colors, you can change any of the sixteen colors to match the perfect
shade. This opens up a whole new world of possibilities in ANSI and ASCII
art. Pictures can become smooth and rounded instead of blocky and harsh,
they can have many non-standard colors and multiple shades, and older ANSI
art programs will soon seem obsolete.
CiADraw has been made to be a powerful, easy to use and reliable
program that expands the limitations of todays artists. All of the commands
are at your fingertips without the worry of getting lost inside menu after
menu. Each feature was carefully thought out to be as easy to use and
as accurate as possible, all without the loss of flexibility and speed.
This document will outline the structure of the program and explain
various features which you may not understand right away. If you feel that
your at your whits end and you need more help, or you see a feature you
don't like, or would like to see something that isn't there yet, then see
the section of this document with directions on how to contact the authors.
Your comments are appreciated and your ideas will be considered for the
next release version!
